Business License Renewal

 Midvale City is taking steps to improve the business license renewal process.  For this renewal cycle, online payments will be accepted from businesses who meet the following criteria:

  • The business has received a renewal notice
  • The business has not changed location/address
  • The business has not changed ownership
  • The business does not serve alcohol
  • The business is not a Sexually Oriented Business
  • The business does not involve the transportation of persons  

Businesses that do not meet these criteria must renew their license at City Hall. 

To renew your business license online, please complete the following steps:

  1. Visit the following web site:  https://www.xpressbillpay.com/portal/?refer=midvalebusinesslicense 
  2. Enter your Business License Number
  3. Enter the "BALANCE DUE" from your renewal form in the Payment Amount box
  4. Complete the rest of the required fields (business name, owner name, etc)
  5. Click the "Add for Payment >> "button
  6. Verify the items in your Xpress Cart
  7. Select Payment Method
  8. To use an Electronic Funds Transfer (eCheck), follow the instructions on the page.
  9. Enter / Verify the Billing Information  (include an e-mail address if you want a receipt)
  10. Click on "I AGREE - Pay >>"
  11. Fax or mail the completed and signed renewal form to:
